With the Council of Stellar Management (CSM) Elections coming up soon we at EVE NT have contacted all the running candidates who have announced their intentions to run and provided them with a standardised interview template. The goal of this is to give each candidate a set of standard questions for them to respond to with the aim of helping you, the voter, to choose a candidate who best represents you and your play style to CCP. The same questions have been asked of every candidate as to allow easier comparison. The responses posted are unedited and will be published in the run up to the opening of the voting period on February the 29th in the order that they have been received.
Today's candidate is MuayThai.
Please start by giving us a short introduction to who you are and your history within EVE Online. Include how long you have been playing and the groups you have been involved with.
I am MuayThai. I began playing in 08, and basically everyone I know from 08 to sometime in 09 are virtually dead in the game, as none are ever online, and remain unresponsive to mails. However, after summer of 09, I deactivated and went wandering the world. I used to be in a corp blue to CVA, and operated for a time inside Provi, sometimes as FC of larger fleets with CVA, and smaller fleets with the corp. I have since returned to a PVP corp, with hopes of improving my game and memory to pvp.
Who would you consider to be your key constituents? Who you would best represent within the playerbase?
Anyone who wants to milk CCP for Isk, basically I want to initiate a payout program for everyone that would allow players to make isks without needing capital. Because I?m a socialist. Everything but PVP sucks, sorry indy players and ceos.
Please summarise your platform. (Preferably using key bullet points)
- I will make slaves out of the Amarrians so I can control their ships.
- I will nerf shuttles.
- I will make Caldari Great Again.
Why have you decided to run for CSM this year?
Because I just heard about it, and I really want CCP to pay me trillions of isks for no reason.
Have you run for or been a member of CSM in the past? If so please list each year and if you were elected.
Never.
What makes you a unique representative when you compare yourself to other candidates?
I am 100% verifiably insane.
Do you have any out of game experience and skills that make you a good candidate?
I smoke marijuana. And everyone knows great ideas come when you get high.
What areas of EVE are you weakest at knowledge wise?
Pretty much everything. Like if I don't know it, you?ll probably win.
If you were offered unlimited development time - what's the biggest change you would lobby for in EVE?
The ability to mine into a can with a pod. Would completely nerf the Indy startup costs. And would ask that they add t3 equipment to the game.
If you could wind back the clock - what feature or change would you remove from EVE?
Skill loss from destroyed T3 cruisers.
If you could pick one candidate to be elected with you who would they be and why?
Solo Star. Because he is so good, I?m fairly certain he's played the game before. Like three Carrier kills in a t1 frigate.
What is your favourite memory in EVE and why?
Travellingto Italy because a member of Razor had invited me.
What platform(s) do you use currently to engage with the wider player base? If someone
wanted to contact you what is the best way to do this? (Include Twitter/Emails/Skype/Slack etc.)
I don't use anything for this game, unless corp says otherwise. Really, I don't have time.
If people wanted to find out more about your platform - where is the best place to do so? (Include blogs, forums posts and podcasts)
It's all really a secret, the list I've provided above is a partial glimpse. And it doesn't matter, I've only got one vote for me.
In short - what is your closing statement (no more than 500 words please!)
I don't have one. But you should smoke pot and play the game, and try not to let down the FC.
