For those of us who live in the northern hemisphere we are usually spoiled for choice when it comes to public roams as a majority are held in late EU or early US prime times. But this doesn't mean our space friends on the other side of 'the plate' miss out on the action. Indeed there are a number of well established roams by the NPSI group Redemption Road. This month they are planning to host an AUTZ friendly roam especially for Australia Day on the 26th of January.
Australia Day is the official national day of Australia and is celebrated every year to mark the anniversary of the first fleet of British Ships arriving in 1788. It is a celebration of Australia's history and the celebrations reflect the diverse society and landscape of the nation. So what better day is there for everyone from the same time-zone to get together and shoot other people in spaceships!
The roam will be kicking off in AUTZ prime-time at 08:00 EVE time on January the 26th. Form up is to begin around 0730 in Redemption Roads 'home' system of Berta. For those of you who have a somewhat dubious security standing form up will be in the low security system of Sendaya. The fleet composition is a very relaxed anything but capitals shield fleet which should mean anyone should be able to attend.
Otto Bismarck in his announcement post on the EVE forums gives instructions on how to get involved:

Join the Redemption Road in-game channel for fleet invites. There'll be prizes, and some surprise twists and turns to look forward to! No PvP experience? No problem! These roams are chillzone and low stress. We're not playing for sheep stations. The last Redemption Road AUTZ roam was for ANZAC day in April last year. Not only did the event have plenty of fun and hilarity (which you can see in the video below) it was attended by not one, but six CCP developers including Mimic, Logibro, Cognac, Alpha, Larrikin and Bartender.
