Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Dear Space Friends,
2015 is coming to a close and 2016 will shortly be upon us, but what a year 2015 has been - in particular for player events. Personally I will have very fond memories of this year and the events that I have attended. I went to my first Fanfest (where I got to see my first near total eclipse ever), my first EVE Nottingham, and my 4th EVE London. Its been a great year for meeting old friends and making new friends, far, far too many for me to mention, but each and every one has made my time at these events all the more memorable. This is what drives me to keep coming back to the EVE universe again, and again, and again.
Along with some incredible community events and gatherings, we have seen some quite astonishing feats of generosity over the last year too. From gofundme's to help out some of the largest contributors to the game and to help the families of those who are worse off than our own. The community got together to help a player who was suffering from a terminal illness to make it to Fanfest so he could do his presentation on the importance of building relationships. The EVE community helped raise nearly $65,000 for the family of a player tragic killed in the San Bernardino attacks. These things are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the great and wonderful things this community does.
It is these things that for me, personally, keep me coming back to this game over and over again. Many people don't always understand how a game like EVE can forge and cement such bonds, which is why when Nashh approached me to take over the position of Editor In Chief for EVE_NT I could not refuse the offer. A website dedicated to player organised events and community news is the perfect place for me to share with the rest of the EVE Community all the great things it does.
So with a great year almost behind us - I cannot wait to see what we have in store for us in 2016 and writing or reading articles about it.
While EVE_NT has now been running for almost its first full month and has published 13 articles, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to everything that has happened in the short space of a month. This is, something that you, our readers, can help with!
Are you organising and event? Have you been to an event? Would like to tell everyone about it? Then please do get in touch with myself of Nashh via twitter at @TiberiusStarGaz and @Nashh_Kadavr. As an added bonus you can earn yourself 150m ISK just for submitting an article or review. Do you attend player events regularly? Then why not become a member of the staff!
I look forward to hearing from you all about all the great and wonderful things that you are all up to in 2016. In the mean time, I hope you all had a Christmas / Festive season and wish you all a great New Year.
See you all in space!
Tibs
